UKAEA operated JET for nearly 40 years, currently operates the MAST-U tokamak at Culham Science Centre, and leads the UK's STEP (Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production) programme to build a prototype fusion power plant.

Cosylab provides control system solutions for particle accelerators, fusion energy facilities, and advanced scientific instruments. With over 200 engineers across three continents, Cosylab has contributed to control systems for ITER, MAST-U, Wendelstein 7-X, and other fusion projects since 2008. The company also delivers certified control systems for medical particle therapy accelerators.
